Regular eye exams are an important part of your overall health, as many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms. Eye exams are also a way of detecting chronic disease, such as high blood pressure, hypertension and diabetes.

We use a variety of tests and procedures to evaluate the health of your eyes and offer prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. We can also provide a list of locations to purchase affordable glasses. At T.H.E., we are dedicated to giving you quality care and improving your vision. Most insurance plans accepted, including Medi-Cal. Sliding fee discount programs are also available.

About our optometrist: Dr. Grattan is a vision expert who comes to T.H.E. with years of experience as a primary care optometrist providing comprehensive eye exams, with an emphasis on low vision management and ocular disease. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2013 and can conduct eye exams in Spanish, Vietnamese and English. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is affiliated with the California Optometry Association as a member of the Low Vision Rehabilitation Section. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association.
